Jon Pardi Alliant Energy PowerHouse Concert reviews
Lumineers worth the cost
"The acoustics in cap one arena can be tricky. Mt. Joy is a good opening band, but the sound board failed at its job. Lumineers were great. The first act, not sure who it was because it was never introduced and the gen x-er next to me didn’t know either. I was a casual fan before, now more so.
The Lumineers sound man did a great job of handling the massive bass while also capturing the sounds of the strings. However, way too loud, unbalanced and unable to hear the words. Not a great choice as a warm up. Too loud, no drums to hold a beat, and the sound was louder than Jon Pardi by far. I’d like to hear his songs in a studio setting as this did not rep him well."
